Peterborough Driving Test Routes – 45

1. [Sat Nav Independent Drive starts immediately] Drive right out of the Driving Test Centre onto Second Drove. 2. At the end of the road turn right onto Fengate. You may have to wait a long time due to the time of day, don't let the pressure build up but reassess the situation all the time. 2a. At the traffic lights turn left onto Boongate.
3. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit continuing on Boongate. 3a. At the Boongate roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead towards the City Centre.
This is the rear view where the candidate was marked down for not giving enough room for the car on the roundabout, so we need to give more room than this.
3b. At the St. Mary's roundabout take the 2nd exit onto New Road. 4. At the T junction turn right onto Northminster. You will pass the Market Car Park on the left. 4a. At the T junction (Central Library is directly ahead of you) turn right onto Bridge Street, this leads onto Broadway. 5. At the traffic light controlled crossroads follow the road ahead continuing on Broadway. 5a. Pull over somewhere safe and drive on again. 5b. At the end of the road turn left onto Eastfield Road.
This is slightly different but goes onto Eastfield Road, the main route may vary slightly...
6. At the traffic lights junction turn left onto Newark Avenue. 6a. Take the next right onto Eastern Avenue. 6a. Pull over somewhere safe and drive on again. 7. Turn left onto Chestnut Avenue. 7a. Pull over one car length from the parked car.
7b. Do a parallel park. 7c. Drive on again. 8. At the crossroads follow the road ahead continuing on Chestnut Avenue. 8a. At the end of the road turn right onto Western Avenue. 8b. (3/2 do a parallel park) (21/11 & 3/2 do an Emergency Stop) Pull over somewhere safe and drive on again. (24/6 pull over on the right, reverse back 2 car lengths and drive on again). 8c. At the T junction turn left onto Eastern Avenue. 9. At the T junction turn right onto Welland Road. 10. At the roundabout on the A47 take the 1st exit onto the A47 towards Leicester. 11. At the roundabout (A15/A47) take the 1st exit onto the A15 towards Parnwell. 11a. At the Eye Services roundabout take the 4th exit towards Boongate and onto the Frank Perkins Parkway. 12 & 13. Take the slip road to the Boongate roundabout. 14. Take the 2nd exit continuing on Boongate. 14a. At the Topps Tiles roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Boongate. 14b. At the traffic lights turn right onto Fengate. 15. Take the next left into Second Drove. 15a. Turn left into the Driving Test Centre.
