1. Drive right out of the Driving Test Centre onto Second Drove. 2. At the end of the road turn right onto Fengate. You may have to wait a long time due to the time of day, don't let the pressure build up but reassess the situation all the time. 2a. At the traffic lights follow the road ahead continuing on Fengate. 2b. Turn left onto Padholme Road East. 3. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Newark Road. 3a. Pull over somewhere safe. Independent Drive starts [follow signs to City Centre]. 3b. At roundabout take 3rd exit onto Boongate. [follow signs to A1(M)]. 4. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the Frank Perkins Parkway. To see a clip going too slow, click here. 5. This road leads onto Fletton Parkway. Will be on this road for quite a while, maybe 3 miles. 5a. [follow signs to Yaxley]. 5b. At Hampton roundabout take 1st exit onto The Serpentine. 6. At Tesco roundabout take 1st exit onto Phorpres Way [follow signs to City Centre]. 6a. At Mercedes roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Phorpres Way. 6b. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto London Road towards the City Centre. 6c. Follow road into Hampstead this is Drake Avenue. (16/11/19 & 17/1/20 go to 7c.) 6d. Turn right into the Shop Car Park outside Wok&Eat. 6e. Do a forward bay park.click here to see 6. 7. Reverse and drive on again in the same direction. 7a. At the end of the Shops with Co-op on your left you can only turn right onto London Road. 7b. Make sure you are in the right lane to head towards the City Centre. 7c. Follow the loop around again and head towards the City Centre via Drake Avenue and London Road. 8. At the traffic light controlled crossroads turn right onto Fletton High Street. 9. Follow the road for some distance and then turn left onto The Glen. 9a. Pull over one car length and drive on again. 9b. At the end of the road turn left onto Whittlesey Road. 9c. At the crossroads turn right onto Queens Road. 10. Follow this road until it leads to Glebe Road. 10a. Pull over on the left and drive on again. 10b. At the end of the road turn right onto London Road. 11. Follow the road into Rivergate. 11a. At Magistrates Court roundabout turn right and take the 2nd exit onto Bishop's Road. Turn right into the ScrewFix car park (St. David's Square) and do a forward bay park on the far side, reverse to the left and follow the one way system round to leave and turn right onto Fengate, turn right into Second Drove and turn left into the driving test centre and drive forward into any bay.) 11b. At the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road onto St. John's Street. 12. At the St. Mary's Church roundabout take the 4th exit onto Boongate. 12a. At the Boongate roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right continuing on Boongate.click here to see 12. 13. At the Topps Tiles roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Boongate. 13a. At the traffic lights turn right onto Fengate. 13b. Turn left into Second Drove. 14. Drive into the Driving Test Centre and drive forward into a bay.
