Skoda Citigo 1.0 59bhp
The car is a Skoda Citigo SE 1.0, it has a 999cc engine producing 59bhp.
It was purchased in May 2015.
I test drove six cars and the Skoda Citigo was head and shoulders above the other 5 cars.
It is easy to drive as the visibilty round the back is excellent.
The steering is very light and the car is very small so it is easy to manoeuvre.
I send a survey to my customers to help me know when to change the car and what their preferred new car would be.
Unfortunately, the Volkswagon Group stopped making the petrol Skoda Citigo, VW Up! & Seat Mii in November 2019 and from January 2020 only make these battery powered, then they moved to only make the VW Up & Seat Mii available and discontinued the Skoda Citigo, then they moved to stop making all three in 2020.
Where I live makes it impractical to charge the car and this would also mean only teaching in an automatic.
Wings Skoda in Peterborough have been great trying to source a newer Citigo for me, I think I may keep this Citigo on the road for a bit longer as it has had a brand new clutch and drives very well.
The Skoda Fabia is 9.5 cm wider and I feel it is too big for my customers, please let me know your opinions on this.
If you are a customer and I have not sent you the survey please tell me. If you could let me know what car you want to learn to drive in that would be great.
