Essential?
When it is snowing you need to ask yourself, is it essential to drive?
You need to ask yourself if there are any risks and how big those risks are?
When following cars, in snow or ice the distance is 10 times the normal distance.
You would normally leave a 2 second gap, so this would increase to a 20 second gap.
I find that I am at a crawl to keep it safe.
I normally stick to walking in these conditions.
