Grantham Driving Test Routes - 9

1.Drive out of the Driving Test Centre and turn right onto High Dyke A52.
2. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right continuing on the A52, this leads onto Somerby Hill & Bridge End Road. Wash the front windows. 2a. Pull over somewhere safe and drive on again.
3. the road bends to the left and then to the right. 3a. Turn left onto Houghton Road. 3b. Take the second right onto Albert Street.
4. At the end of the road turn left onto the B1174 South Parade. 4a. Take the next road on the right onto Gorse Lane.
5. Take the next road on the right onto Wyville Road. 5a. At the end of the road turn right onto A607, this road bends to the left and joins the A1(N). The sign says, “A1 The North”.
6. Exit the next slip road into Barrowby. 6a. On the slip road take the 1st exit onto High Street. 6b. Pull over one car length from the parked car and drive on again.
7. At the end of the road turn left onto Main Street. 7a. Pull over to talk about Emergency Stop, then do Emergency Stop. 7b. Pull over on the right, drive back 2 car lengths and drive on again.
8. Main Street leads onto Low Road, national speed limit, this goes over the A1 then it is a 30mph speed limit. 8a. Turn right onto Trent Road. 8b. At the mini roundabout follow the road ahead. 9. At next mini roundabout follow the road ahead. 9a. At the crossroads follow the road ahead. (KFC is on the left) onto Springfield Road. 10. Follow this road for a while and it will go under the railway bridge (traffic light controlled). 11. At the crossroads (McDonalds on right) follow the road ahead onto Bridge End Road. 11a. The road bends to the left and then bends to the right. 11b. Pull over and drive on again. 11c. The speed limit changes to 50mph here so you need to get to it as long as it is safe to minimise a minor fault for hesitancy. 12. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto High Dyke A52. 12a. Take the 1st exit on the left into the Driving Test Centre.
