Grantham Driving Test Routes - 8

This route is similar to 7. 1.Drive out of the Driving Test Centre and turn right onto High Dyke A52. 2. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right continuing on the A52, this leads onto Somerby Hill & Bridge End Road . 2a. Pull over somewhere safe and drive on again. 3. At crossroads (railway bridge ahead) turn right onto B1174 London Road. 4. Turn left onto Station Road East. 4a. Turn right before the church and then follow the road to the right onto Commercial Road. 4b. The road bends to the left, please be careful here as there is no entry sign ahead so you have to turn right onto Brewery Hill. 4c. At the end of the road turn left onto Wharf Road A52. 5. The road bends to the right and there is a railway bridge ahead 5a. As you bend to the right onto Sainkt Augustin Way go into the left lane and follow it to the left onto Dysart Road. 6. Drive left into the Matalan/TK Maxx car park and do a forward bay park. 7. Drive (right) back the opposite way on Dysart Road back towards the centre of Grantham. 8. Turn left back onto Sainkt Augustin Way. It is a 30 mph limit here but it is very wide so you can be fooled into thinking the speed limit is higher. 9. At the roundabout turn left (1st exit) onto Barrowby Road. 10. There is another low bridge and you bend to the right as you go up a hill. 11. Pull over and drive on again. 12. At the roundabout turn left (1st exit) onto Barrowby Gate. 12. At the end of the road turn right onto Dysart Road. 13. Stay on here a very short distance and then turn left onto Trent Road. 14. At the mini roundabout follow the road ahead (football ground on the left). 15. At the 2nd mini roundabout follow the road ahead. 9. At the 3rd mini roundabout take the 2nd exit to the right onto Swingbridge Road. 10. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto A607. 11. At the end of the road turn left onto Harlaxton Road. 12. You will come to a crossroads with KFC ahead on your right, turn right at these crossroads onto Springfield Road. 13. Follow this road for a while and it will go under the railway bridge (traffic light controlled). 14. At the crossroads (McDonalds on right) follow the road ahead onto Bridge End Road. 15. The road bends to the left on this bend turn left onto Harrowby Road. 16. Take the first right onto St. Vincent's Road. 17. Pull over 1 car length behind parked car and drive on again. 18. You have to turn right onto Toll Bar Road. 19. At the end of the road turn left onto Cold Harbour Lane, this goes uphill. 20. Take the next road on the right onto Wellington Drive. 21. Pull over and drive on again. 22. At the end of Wellington Drive turn right onto Hillside Drive, this goes downhill. 23. At the end of the road turn left onto Bridge End Road. 24. The speed limit changes to 50mph here so you need to get to it as long as it is safe to minimise a minor fault for hesitancy. 25. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto High Dyke A52. 26. Take the 1st exit on the left into the Driving Test Centre.
