1. Drive out of the Driving Test Centre and bear left. 1a. At the end of the road (which is almost immediate and you see a factory unit with Amigos Gourmet) turn right onto Orion Way. 1b. The road bends to the left.click here to see 1. 2. Pull up on the left behind the white car. 2a. Drive on again. 2b. The road bends to the right. 2c. At the roundabout (with McDonald's on the left hand side) follow the road ahead continuing on Orion Way. The examiner says to be in the right lane to follow the road ahead.click here to see 2. 3. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right onto the A509 (car dealership on the left). 3a. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the Kettering Venture Park. 3b. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto another road (a company called e.surv is on the left). 3c. Take the 2nd road on the right called Boughton. 3d. Pull over somewhere safe on the left. 3e. Independent drive starts. [follow signs to The Midlands].click here to see 3. 4. Take the 4th exit onto the A14 towards The Midlands.click here to see 4. 5. [follow signs to Kettering (W) via A6013] Exit the A14 at junction 8 (the next junction). 5a. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right onto A6013. 5b. At the roundabout follow the road ahead (there is a new housing estate here).click here to see 5. 6. This leads onto Northampton Road. 6a. You will pass Gipsy Lane on your left. 6b. Go under the railway bridge (high vehicles use centre of road). 6c. At the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit (Majestic Wine Warehouse is in front of you). 6d. At the next mini roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A6003. You will pass Stagecoach on your left.click here to see 6. 7. Follow the road and it will bend right and then left onto Bowling Green Road. 7a.[follow signs to Corby/Stamford] At the end of the road turn right onto London Road. 7b. Turn left onto St.Mary's Road A6900. 7c. Follow this for some distance, maybe a mile. 7d. At the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit to the right onto Windmill Avenue.click here to see 7. 8. [end of Independent Drive]. 8a. At the mini roundabout take the 1st exit onto Deeble Road. 8b. Pull over and drive on again. 8c. Turn left into St. Catherine's Road.click here to see 8. 9. Pull over on the right, reverse 2 car lengths and drive on again. 9a. At the end of the road turn left onto Warkton Lane. click here to see 9.10. At the end of the road turn left onto (don't know the name).click here to see 10. 11. At the end of the road turn left onto Stamford Road A4300. 11a. Take the 1st road on the left onto Edith Road. 11b. Pull over. 11c. Do the Emergency Stop.click here to see 11.12. At the end of the road turn left back onto Stamford Road A4300. 12a. At the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit almost going straight on (the Warren is on your right) onto Windmill Avenue. 12b. At the next mini roundabout take the 1st exit continuing on Windmill Avenue (again from before). 12c. At roundabout take the 2nd exit continuing ahead.click here to see 12. 13. At the end of the road turn right onto Barton Road. 13a. At the mini roundabout take the 1st exit onto Pytchley Road. click here to see 13.14.
