This is similar to test route 6 but differs from point 6 as there appears to have been a new road made.

1. Drive out of the Driving Test Centre and turn left onto High Dyke. 1a. Turn left again continuing on High Dyke. 1b. Turn left onto Harrowby Lane.



2. Drive on for a while and pull over on the left.



3. At mini roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Harrowby Lane. 3b. Pull over and drive on again.



4.At the end of the road turn left onto Belton Lane, there is a sign to “Town Centre”. 4a. At the end of the road turn left onto Manthorpe Road.



5. This road leads onto Brook Street.



5a. Follow the road to the right, the examiner instructs to keep to the left, the paint on the road says A52, (A1(S), A52), this leads onto North Street. 5b. Turn left onto Barrowby Road, there is a Give Way line so it is important to give way to the right. 5c. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Barrowby Road. This goes under the railway bridge, then uphill and bends quite a bit.

6. At roundabout follow the road ahead towards the A1(S). 6b. Join the A1(S).



7. Stay on A1.



8. Take the second exit off the A1 which appears to be unsigned and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Boston, Grantham B1174.



9. Exit the roundabout at the 2nd exit. At the Honda dealership roundabout take the 1st exit to the left towards Grantham.



10. At the McDonalds crossroads turn right onto Bridge End Road. Bridge End Road leads onto Sowerby Hill.



11. Pull over and drive on again. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto High Dyke.



12. Turn left into the Driving Test Centre.
