1. Drive out of the Driving Test Centre and turn left onto High Dyke. 1a. Turn left again continuing on High Dyke. 1b. Turn left onto Harrowby Lane, there will be a sign on the right saying Alma Park Industrial Estate.
2. Drive on for a while and pull over on the right. Reverse back 2 car lengths and drive on again.
3. Drive for some distance and then pull over and drive on again [SatNav starts]. 3a. At mini roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Harrowby Lane. 3b. Pull over and drive on again.
4.At the end of the road turn left onto Belton Lane, there is a sign to “Town Centre”. 4a. At the end of the road turn left onto Manthorpe Road.
5. This road leads onto Brook Street. 5a. Follow the road to the right, the examiner instructs to keep to the left, the paint on the road says A52, (A1(S), A52), this leads onto North Street. 5b. Turn left onto Barrowby Road, there is a Give Way line so it is important to give way to the right. 5c. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Barrowby Road. This goes under the railway bridge, then uphill and bends quite a bit.
6. Pull over and drive on again. 6a. At roundabout follow the road ahead towards the A1(S). 6b. Join the A1(S). Stay on this for one junction. 6c. You will see a sign “Grantham, Melton Mowbray A607”, take this exit onto the slip road. 6d. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A607. 6e. At the T junction turn left onto Harlaxton Road. [SatNav ends].
7. You will pass the Kawasaki dealership. At the crossroads with the traffic lights turn right onto Springfield Road.
8. Follow the road going under the railway bridge. 8a. At the crossroads (where McDonald's is) follow the road ahead (you need to be in the middle lane).
9. Bridge End Road leads onto Sowerby Hill. 9a. Pull over and drive on again.
10. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto High Dyke. 10a. Turn left into the Driving Test Centre.
