Peterborough Driving Test Routes – 42

1. Drive right out of the Driving Test Centre onto Second Drove. 1a. At the end of the road turn right onto Fengate. You may have to wait a long time due to the time of day, don't let the pressure build up but reassess the situation all the time. 1b. At the traffic lights turn left onto Boongate. 2. At the roundabout take the 4th exit to the right onto Newark Road. 2a. Pull over and drive on again. 2b. At the roundabout follow the road ahead, 2nd exit continuing on Newark Road. 2c. Pull over and the SatNav is set up. 3. At the mini roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Vicarage Farm Road. 3a. At the crossroads follow the road ahead onto Storeys Bar Road. 3b. At the T junction turn left onto Pearces Road. 4. At the crossroads follow the road ahead onto Eyebury Road, this is a one track road. 5. At the mini roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Thorney Road. 5a. Pull over 1 car length from the parked car and drive on again. 6. At the T junction turn left onto the A47 towards Peterborough. 7. At the roundabout, you need to be in the right hand lane to follow the road ahead, 2nd exit continuing on the A47. 8. At the roundabout follow the road ahead, get in the left hand lane to take the 2nd exit at the roundabout. 8a. At the roundabout take the 1st exit to the left onto the A15(S). (Alternative 2/2) 8b. At the Eye Services roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Parnwell Way. 8c. Follow the road ahead at the roundabout until you get to Oxney Road and then take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Oxney Road. 8c. Follow the road to the right, this leads onto Edgerley Drain Road. 8d. Follow this road and it leads onto Fengate. 8e. At the traffic lights turn left (although it feels like you are going straight ahead) continuing on Fengate. 8f. Turn left into Second Drove. 8h. Turn left into the Driving Test Centre. 8i. Do a reverse bay park. (End of alternative 2/2) 8b. the Eye Services roundabout take the 4th exit onto the Frank Perkins Parkway, you need to be in the left lane when 2 lanes, left lane when 3 lane and the second from left lane when 4 lanes. 9. At the Boongate roundabout take the 1st exit to the left onto Carr Road. 10. Turn right onto Padholme Road East, McDonalds is ahead of you. 10a. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Newark Road. 11. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Boongate. 11a. At the traffic lights turn right onto Fengate. 11b. Turn left into Second Drove. 11c. Turn left into the Driving Test Centre and drive forward into a bay. Alternative (21/1) 9. At the Boongate roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Boongate. 10. At the Tops Tiles roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing on Boongate. 11. At the traffic lights turn right onto Fengate. 12. Turn left into Second Drove. 12a. Turn left into the Driving Test Centre. 12b. Drive forward into a bay.
